बहुत-बहुत बधाई और साधुवाद मनोज कुमार जी को उनके पहले उपन्यास "गंगा का पत्थर" के प्रकाशन पर।
मनोज कुमार जी ब्लाइंड रिलीफ एसोसिएशन द्वार परिचालित JPM सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल में शिक्षक के रूप में कार्यरत हैं। "गंगा का पत्थर" शीर्षक उपन्यास में मनोज जी ने एक अनाथ दिव्यांग की मनोस्थिति और उसके प्रति समाज का दृष्टिकोण प्रस्तुत किया है। उपन्यास ग्रामीण परिवेश में विद्यमान जातिभेद और समाज में दलितों के प्रति दृष्टि को भी उजागर करता है। एक दृष्टिबाधित होने का यथार्थ मनोज जी ने स्वयं जिया है जो कि इस उपन्यास में परिलक्षित होता है। इस उपन्यास से पूर्व आप के दो कहानी संग्रह भी प्रकाशित हो चुके हैं।
उपन्यास का विमोचन श्रीमती मधु दीक्षित औरऔर प्रोफेसर उमापति दीक्षित, विभागध्यक्ष, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय हिंदी प्रशिक्षण विभाग, केंद्रीय हिंदी संस्थान, आगरा द्वारा १४ सितम्बर २०१९ को हुआ।
