26th Subodh Trophy

26th Subodh Trophy

April 18, 2019 Posted by Blind Relief Admin Events

It was again that time of the year when cricket is the talk of the boys of JPM Senior Secondary School, not because of the IPL season, but because of the 26th Subodh Trophy, the annual cricket tournament organized by Class IX students on 11 & 12 April 2019.

Three teams led by Madan, Ghanshyam and Sunil of Class XI participated in the tournament. After the first and second matches among the three teams, the teams led by Ghanshyam and Madan advanced to the final match. The team led by Madan emerged as winners of Subodh Trophy 2019 by six wickets.

Scoring 128 runs and taking one wicket, the Man of the Series title was won by Mukesh Gaur under B1 category and with 324 runs and 3 wickets, Harsit Sexena under B2 category.

The Prize Giving Ceremony was held on 18 April at the Gandhi hall of the Blind Relief Association, Delhi.

The Trophy is named after a former student of JPM who loved cricket passionately and died when he was still a student.
