Farewell to Class XII boys
JPM Senior Secondary School was more than just a school to the 17 students of Class XII. With wishes and love for the future, they were given a warm farewell today at the Gandhi Hall.
The Blind Relief Association was home to them, a home they will always come back to. To find the corridors they tirelessly walked shoulder to shoulder with their companions. To find their benches where they learnt Braille. To meet their teachers who are now livelong mentors and to catch up with friends, for which no barriers exist.
At the farewell, white canes fabricated in BRA’s workshop were gifted to each by Shri K C Pande, Hony. Executive Secretary. The students also received assorted material in Braille such as poems, stories and an article on the beginning of the BRA. Sri Pande along with Shri K J Kuriyan, School Principal and; Shri Keshav Kumar, Vice – Principal spoke words of encouragement and assured them of the Association’s support even as they step out to colleges.
A small step yet a giant leap!
