Annual Picnic
Coming together has been a frequent occurrence for the Blind Relief Association which believes in the power of community and society.
Nonetheless, this time ‘coming together’ meant a meet up of over 700 people!
The Annual Picnic of the Blind Relief Association was organised on 2 February at Millennium Indraprastha Park. Members of the Blind Relief Association’s family including students, trainees, staff, alumni, volunteers, and families gathered for some pure fun, to meet people and enjoy the warmth of winter sun as they sat on the grassy terrain.
Staff or volunteers, students or trainees, sighted or non-sighted. It didn’t matter. All that mattered was to sing, dance, play cricket and other games, enjoy the comical skit put up by the trainees of Multi-Skill Unit and partake in the meal together.
