IBSA National Kabaddi & Powerlifting Championships
The week-long sports event organized by the Indian Blind Sports Association and co-hosted by the Blind Relief Association, Delhi kick-started on 6 January 2020. The following Championships & Seminar took place in the premises of the Blind Relief Association between 6 and 11 January 2020.
- 5th IBSA Kabaddi Championships For Men (6-11 January)
- 2nd IBSA Kabaddi Championships For Women (6-11 January)
- 8th IBSA Powerlifting Championships (08 January)
- Coaching Camp and Seminar on Blind Sports (6-11 January)
The inauguration ceremony was held at 11:00 am on Monday, 6th January 2020. Senior Vice President of the Indian Olympic Association Mr. R. K. Anand was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Mr. R. K. Anand addressed the participants and spoke words of encouragement to the visually impaired sportspersons. After declaring the Sports Meet open, he also met and wished the teams from different states.
At the end of the event, Anand Singh Smark Khel evam Sanskritik Samiti, Delhi won the Championship Trophy Kabaddi – Men and National Federation of the Blind Maharashtra, Pune for Women.
The final matches were followed by the Closing and Prize Giving Ceremony. Smt. Radhika Bharat Ram, Chairperson, Indian Blind Sports Association was the Chief Guest of the organization and the Guest of Honour was Ms. Preemita Singh, Chief HR Officer and CSR Head, Hero Fin Corp.

The Blind Relief Association, Delhi which hosted the events in its premises lent logistic and other support, including accommodation for outstation teams.
