Three students of Japanese language clear JLPT
Three students of the Sawaru Nihongo (Touch Japanese) Group, studying Japanese in the Blind Relief Association have cleared the globally conducted Japanese Language Proficiency Test held on 7 July, 2019.
While Deepak Gupta cleared Level 4, and Gaurav Kumar, Mohit Pande cleared Level 5. All three are former students of JPM Senior Secondary School and are currently pursuing graduation/post-graduation in the University of Delhi.
The Ambassador of Japan HE Kenji Hiramatsu and his spouse Mrs. Patricia Hiramatsu had met the students in their visit to the Association in April and handed over the study materials in Japanese Braille gifted by Madam Kaori Kono, spouse of Hon’ble Foreign Minister of Japan. Mrs. Kono had also visited the Association and interacted with the students and volunteers in January this year.

A shout out to the team of devoted volunteer teachers namely, Ms Himani, Mr Yogesh Dayal, Mrs Naomi Furampu, Ms Anupreet Kaur, Ms Yuga Uehara, and Mr.Ogura for helping the students clear the levels. And to Mrs. Itsuko Nandi for conducting Japanese classes for the last many years.
