As the years fly by, and calendars seem to roll faster, the values and ideology of one man of the past only seem to turn more befitting to the nation today.
Wounds from a bullet martyred the Father of the Nation 72 years ago. In remembering his service and sacrifice, we gathered at our own little Shanti Niketan to pay tribute to Gandhiji.
Separate prayers from different faiths such as Jain, Buddhist, Hindu, Islam, Christian and Sikh were recited by the students and trainees. A minute of silence was observed at 5:17 PM when Gandhiji was shot.
