#storiesofgratitude – Akbar Ahamad
Akbar Ahamad is a visually challenged undergraduate student of Delhi University. He lives with his parents in Nangoli, Delhi. His father, a daily labourer, was finding it difficult to find work due to the lockdown. Under dire circumstances, Akbar called the Blind Relief Association’s COVID Helpline which he got to know from a friend. On receiving Akbar’s request, the team responded immediately and provided ration kit to the family.
“You have provided rations for us, Thank you very much. You helped not just me but also my parents in these difficult times and I thank you on their behalf” says Akbar with a grateful heart. Listen to Akbar’s sweet note of thanks that he shared with us
