#storiesofgratitude – Akshata Ghure
Akshata Ghanshyam Ghure and her husband are visually impaired and are residents of Thane, Mumbai. Ghure used to sell toys on the local train before becoming paralytic two months ago. With the second wave of the pandemic and no income, the family were in need of ration and medicines. When they reached the team through the Helpline, we connected with a donor who transferred an amount of Rs 5000/- to meet the family’s expenses.
Thanking the B.R.A. team, Akshata said “tumhi mala madat keli mi tumchi khup khup aabhari ahe” (Marathi) Heartful thanks to the kind donor who wishes to remain anonymous.
