Sohail Razeeque who contacted B.R.A. COVID Helpline is an unemployed visually challenged person from Aurangabad. His father is a daily wage labourer and the sole earner for his family of four, which includes Sohail and his sister both of whom are visually challenged. Caught under lockdown in the second wave of the COVID pandemic, the family was running out of basic ration. He came across the B.R.A Covid Helpline through WhatsApp. Once he got in touch with the Helpline, our team located Prerana Trust, a local NGO in Aurangabad, and got it in touch with the family in distress. The very next day, not only did Prerana Trust deliver the ration but also sent its representative to visit the family a few days later.
